LIPA privacy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
LIPA (lipa-ai.com) is a free AI LinkedIn profile analyzer. This page explains, in plain words, what LIPA collects, what happens to the files you upload, and which services are involved. LIPA is free: there are no payments, plans or paid tiers.
Who is responsible for LIPA: Roman Kruglov. Contact: Lipa.AI@outlook.com.
LIPA is for adults
LIPA is for people 18 and over. Please don't use it if you are under 18.
Your account
- You need an account to run an analysis. You can sign up with email and password, or sign in with Google.
- If you sign up with email, LIPA asks for your first name, last name, email address and a password.
- If you sign in with Google, Google gives LIPA your Google name, email address and profile photo. Your photo appears in the site header.
- Accounts are kept in Google Firebase Authentication. LIPA keeps no other database of user profiles.
- LIPA never asks for your LinkedIn password and doesn't connect to your LinkedIn account. It only reads the PDF you upload.
- You are signed out automatically if your last sign-in was more than 7 days ago. You can reset your password and log out from the account menu.
What happens to your files
- Your LinkedIn profile. You upload a PDF of your LinkedIn profile. LIPA sends it to Google's Gemini AI to produce your report.
- Your resume, if you choose to. If you use the optional consistency check, your resume (PDF or Word) and your LinkedIn report are sent to Gemini the same way.
- LIPA does not save your files. The PDF and resume don't go into a database, file storage, server files or your browser's storage.
- LIPA does not save your report. It exists only in the open browser page and is gone when you leave or start a new analysis.
The AI provider: Google Gemini
LIPA uses Google Gemini through Google's Gemini API (Google AI Studio). Your profile is processed by Google's Gemini API under Google's terms.
Logs
LIPA's code never deliberately writes the contents of your profile or resume to its logs. If an analysis fails, the server records the error. Error logs are kept for 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
- LIPA's server sets no cookies.
- Firebase sign-in keeps you logged in by storing sign-in data in your browser.
- The site uses Google Analytics (through Firebase), which collects standard automatic usage data. LIPA sends no custom events, no user IDs and no profile details to Analytics. Analytics data is kept for 2 months.
- There is no cookie banner or consent setting.
Other services
- Google Gemini API processes the documents you upload.
- Google Firebase runs the site on Google Cloud (App Hosting), keeps accounts (Authentication), and provides Analytics.
- The site's font is served from LIPA's own site, not loaded from Google Fonts.
- There are optional links to Substack, a PayPal donation page, X and romankruglov.me. Nothing is sent to them unless you click.
Keeping and deleting your data
LIPA has no automatic deletion schedule, because it stores no files or reports. Your account stays until it is deleted.
To prevent abuse, LIPA keeps a short-lived count of analyses per account in server memory. It isn't saved and resets within the hour or when the service restarts.
To delete your account, email Lipa.AI@outlook.com and ask for it to be deleted. There is no delete button in the app; deletion is done by hand. Requests are answered within 30 days.
